Along with hunting, a warrior is considered to be a male activity. It was seen a rite of passage for a boy to becoming a man. Marcus Cassius Scaeva is probably the toughest Roman warrior. He was a decorated centurion in Caesar’s army. During one battle he was injured by an arrow which left him blinded, at the time he removed the arrow, yelled a battle cry, and carried on.
