1949 Buick Roadmaster Black

The Buick Roadmaster was built from 1936-1958 and again in 1991 – 1996. The earlier models produced from 1936 – 1958 were based on Buick’s longest non limousine wheelbase. Between 1946 – 1957 the Roadmaster was Buick’s flagship model. The Roadmaster received its first major post war styling in 1949. Distinctive portholes and a toothy “man - eater” grille were added this model had it all. The outstanding die cast model has a hefty side hood, Fireball straight – 8 beneath, readable gauges on the instrument cluster and a brilliantly fluted trim.
